The fine print (the real kind)
Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
VenuePass LLC, a California limited liability company (“VenuePass,” “we,” “us”), runs myvenuepass.com and the member dashboard at app.myvenuepass.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain English on purpose.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, buy a Preview Pass, become a member or contact us, we collect details such as your name, email address, mobile number, the venue you are interested in and your city or primary residence. If you use the member dashboard, we also keep your RSVPs and, when you provide them, the name and contact details of a guest you bring or pass your seats to.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive limited details from Stripe, such as the card type, the last four digits and whether a payment went through.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours collects basic technical information when you visit: your browser and device type, IP address, the pages you view and the site that sent you to us. We collect this through cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel.
How we use it
- To run the waitlist, Preview Passes and memberships, including RSVPs and getting your tickets to you.
- To process payments and keep records of them.
- To text and email you about your account, reservations and events, such as confirmations, reminders and your dashboard link.
- To send you news and offers from VenuePass by email, which you can turn off at any time.
- To understand how people use our site, improve it and measure how our advertising performs.
- To prevent fraud, protect our members and meet our legal obligations.
Text messages
When you submit a form on our site and provide your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from VenuePass about your account, reservations and events. That includes the link to your VenuePass Dashboard, which we send by text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. You can also email vip@myvenuepass.com. We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share it or your text message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run VenuePass, and only what they need to do their job:
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Mailchimp and Mandrill, to send our emails.
- Twilio, to send our text messages.
- AXS, the arena’s ticketing platform. We share your email address with AXS so your event tickets can be delivered to your AXS account. We share nothing else with them.
- Google and Meta, for site analytics and advertising, as described below.
- Hosting and software providers that store our website, dashboard and records on our behalf.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the safety and rights of our members or VenuePass, or as part of a merger, sale or other transfer of the business.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, to see how it is used and to measure our marketing. If we run ads through Google or Meta, those services may use cookies or pixels to show VenuePass ads to people who have visited our site.
You can limit this in a few ways:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on.
- Adjust ad personalization in your Google and Meta ad settings.
Your choices
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Texts: reply STOP.
- Your information: you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email vip@myvenuepass.com and we will respond within the time the law requires. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep certain records where the law requires it, such as payment history.
If you live in California or another state with its own privacy law, you may have additional rights. We will not treat you differently for using them.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you are on the waitlist or have a membership, and afterward for as long as we need it for legal, tax and record-keeping purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on established providers such as Stripe for the sensitive parts. No website or service can promise perfect security, so please use care with what you share online.
Age
VenuePass is intended for adults 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Other sites
Our site and messages may link to other websites and services, such as AXS and Frontwave Arena. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies too.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will let members know by email.
